The website has lots of information and pictures for you to enjoy,  We think that it is import for our prospective owners to know what it means to be a C&J Cocker Owner.

Hopefully it has already occurred to you we are not like any other breeder on the internet. We are known worldwide for our Cocker Spaniels and we know of no other breeder that provides the care and support for their dogs and owners as we do.

We have put up this summary page to help you understand the key points of what you can expect from our puppies and from us and what we expect from you.  Aside from the great expense time and care we have invested in our puppies, our commitment to our puppies does not end when they leave to go to their new homes. Around here we say to our prospective owners, "You may be adopting one of our babies, but we are adopting you."

Finding good owners has always been our No. 1 priority and to that end we used to have a very complex application process to screen out owners that may not measure up. Even though we did our best, it was not working as we soon realized one thing our new owners need is not for Cherri and I to have so much information on them, but our new owners need information from us. From this came the "C&J Cocker life time support program".  The essence of the program is: We are available to you at anytime of the day or night should you have any questions or concerns with your puppy, "There is never a time or reason for you not to call should you have any questions or concerns about this puppy.".  We will help instruct you on the best methods for house training, provide approved feeding recommendations, help with any training issues, Grooming tips, help in selection of a vet if you do not have one, weight management, (for the dog) and professional medical consulting with your vet by our vets should there ever be any medical concerns.   

You will be a member of the C&J Cocker Spaniel Club and have access to our Private Forum where you post pictures, ask question, meet all of our owners, participate in local activities with other owners and participate in our photo contests and other activities.

We do have provisions for the puppies and this is very important for you to understand.

1. Our puppies are never sold for breeding purposes.

2. We stand behind each and every puppy 100.0% for life threatening genetic disorders.

3. We do offer spay and neuter before they come if it is desired by the owner.

4. The puppies will have all of their shots current for their age.

5. Each puppy will have a complete physical from a DVM prior to leaving and a certificate of fitness will come with each puppy.

6.  All puppies are registered with either the AKC or ACA or both registration papers are mailed to you following receipt of the puppy.

7. Safety Net Provision.  Should you or your family ever find yourself in a position where you are not willing  to or are unable to care for the puppy the puppy is to be returned to us no questions asked.  A  C&J Cocker is never to be sold given away, abandoned or surrendered to a shelter.  Between the two of us, we have more experience in finding homes for the puppies and have the resources to make it happen successfully with the best interests of the puppy in mind.
